The Browns and Chargers are set to face off on Sunday, as the Chargers look to take advantage of a struggling Cleveland team. The Browns have had a rough season, but they still have some talented players that could make this game interesting.
Baker Mayfield and the Browns are facing massive issues heading into their huge matchup with Justin Herbert and the Chargers on Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, and all eyes will be on the game. However, the game between the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Chargers is one of the most interesting of the early season. Both clubs have a 3-1 record and are vying for the division title.
The Chargers are coming off back-to-back stunning wins over the Chiefs and the Raiders in Las Vegas, while the Browns’ lone defeat of the season came against Patrick Mahomes and company. At SoFi Stadium, a pair of 3-1 clubs compete for a potential playoff berth.
However, the Browns and Baker Mayfield may be missing a slew of players following a lengthy injury report on Friday, which included names like Jedrick Wills and Myles Garrett.
It’s possible that the Browns’ injury problems will make a difference.
#Browns injury report on Friday:
Hubbard and Newsome are no longer with us.
Clowney, Fields, Garrett, Hill, McKinley, Njoku, M. Smith, Tretter, Ward, and Wills are all questionable.

Yes, the Browns have a slew of doubtful players on their injury report, and the issue will be worth keeping an eye on come Sunday. The list is lengthy, and it does not bode well for the future.
The good news is that all of the players, with the exception of Wills and Garrett, were present for Friday’s practice. Even so, having so many guys on the fence is difficult.
Furthermore, losing Wills and Garrett would be a big loss, particularly against a Chargers team that cruised through the previously unbeaten Raiders and vexed Derek Carr.
Denzel Ward may be a big loss if he is unable to play, since the Chargers’ offense relies largely on Justin Herbert’s arm, with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams benefiting. The Chargers’ offense might have a field day if Garrett or Ward are out for this game. Greg Newsome has already been ruled out, and cornerback Troy Hill’s status is also in doubt, which may be important for Cleveland’s defense.
The Browns’ offense may suffer a significant setback, particularly with Baker Mayfield’s injury still lingering.

Mayfield has been battling with a shoulder issue to his non-throwing arm, which was disclosed this week. That may be reason for worry, but Mayfield will persevere and play until he can no longer.
David Njoku and Chris Hubbard, as well as Wills, are all listed as injured for the Browns offense. It’s possible that two offensive linemen and a tight end are involved, not to mention Mayfield’s injuries.
Hubbard is now gone for the season, and the Browns’ offensive line has suffered yet another blow.

The Chargers’ defense has been outstanding, and they are aiming for their third consecutive win and a chance to seize sole control of the AFC West with a win. Especially if Wills isn’t in the lineup, Joey Bosa and Derwin James could have a field day.
Mayfield and the Browns offense could be in serious trouble if Wills and Njoku are forced to miss the game on Sunday. LA frustrated Carr and the Raiders by pitching a first-half shutout on Monday night, and Mayfield and the Browns offense could be in serious trouble if Wills and Njoku are forced to miss the game on Sunday.
Injuries on defense pave the door for a monster. Game of Justin Herbert
In the first half, Justin Herbert had three pass touchdowns. When was the last time a quarterback had three pass touchdowns in the first half of a Monday Night Football game?

In his first year and a half in the NFL, the Chargers’ rookie quarterback has been nothing short of spectacular. In a win against the Raiders, Herbert established yet another NFL record, and the Chargers are playing excellent football in the first year of Joe Lombardi’s new offensive scheme.
Mike Williams and Keenan Allen may have monster outings, particularly with the Browns’ secondary facing injuries, while Austin Ekeler torched the Raiders defense for over 100 yards.
Things aren’t looking good for Cleveland, and the injury report for the Browns will be one to keep an eye on. If they are missing guys, particularly on defense, Herbert may have a field day and a chance to go 4-1 on the season.
