Soul Kingdoms is a PvP MMO-lite that will start crowdfunding November 4 and run a playtest October 26.

Last week, we told you about Soul Kingdoms, a self-described “MMO-lite” PvP game that promised a social center with minigames and events, as well as a variety of instanced PvP gameplay types that could be accessible regardless of level or gear score. The development company has said that they want to use a milestone fundraising method to crowdfund the game itself. The most recent update from the game currently includes details on both gameplay and financing, as well as some important dates for prospective participants and interested fans.

First, the game will hold another playtest on Tuesday, October 26th, with two different battlefields for players to choose from: Clash, a smaller team vs. team map where players battle for control of a relic in the map’s center; and Brawl, a larger instance where four teams battle for control of a limited number of towers in order to generate points over time, as well as a relic that can be found at the map’s center for a big points boost Those interested in participating in the playtest should sign up for the game’s newsletter and join the official Discord channel.

Finally, on Thursday, November 4th, the game’s self-funded campaign will commence. The crowdfunding campaign will last 30 days, with additional playtests and events taking place throughout that time. Before and after the crowdfunding campaign, the developers pledge to reveal more specific ideas for the game.
